Additional measures in place upon reopening
Restricted Groups
Following the government’s recent announcements, we will not be accepting groups of more than 6 people to eat in, unless they are from one household or support bubble. Different groups also cannot interact or socialise with one another
Track & Trace
It is now a legal requirement for every visitor eating in to complete a Track & Trace form on arrival. There are available from the ordering point.
Restricted seating
Although we will be allowing indoor dining, some tables will not be in use to ensure social distancing. Please note, this will limit the capacity in the restaurant and may lead to increased queues and waiting times.
Facial Coverings
All customers and staff are required to wear facial coverings when in an inside area, unless sat down to eat or drink. Those under 11 years of age or exempt will not need to wear facial coverings
Alterated closing times
All restaurants and takeaways are to be closed by 10pm. Anyone sat inside the restaurants would be required to leave by 10pm.
Limited ordering and payment points
We’ve reduced the number of points to order from in order to assist with social distancing.
Disposable, single-use menus
All menus will be paper-printed and will be disposed of after each table sitting to eliminate customer-to-customer contamination.
Installing protective screens
We have installed protective Perspex screens at all payment points to further reduce contact between our staff and guests.
Reducing transaction contact
Where possible, please use contactless payments to pay for your food and drinks. The payment limit has been increased from £30 to £45 to assist with this. If you cannot pay by contactless, Chip & Pin is preferred. Whilst we will accept cash, please only use this as a last resort.
Increased cleaning and sanitisation
We will be increasing our already outstanding cleaning schedule, including more regular sanitising of work surfaces, tills, cooking equipment and frequently touched points.
Socially distanced tables
Tables are socially distanced and will be set out for groups no bigger than 6 people. High chairs will already be at tables. All tables will be sanitised after each table sitting leaves
Socially distanced queuing systems
Along with the reduced ordering points, we have introduced floor markings in the queuing areas to indicate minimum queuing distances
Use of tongs when handling food
We have always upheld the highest standards of hygiene anyway. We will now be continuing to wash our hands regularly regularly but will now also be handling your food with tongs and utensils.
